Toward the end of the last century, a man had a dream. That man was Ed Prentiss and that dream was to live out his remaining years on a deserted island with his Creedence Clearwater Revival records and many beautiful women. That didn’t pan out so Brainco was the next logical choice. It began in 1994 as a workshop that helped copywriters and art directors put together portfolios and get their first jobs. Four years later we received our license from the State of Minnesota and became an official school-The Minneapolis School of Advertising, Design and Interactive Studies. “Brainco” is still there for sentimental reasons- we hope you like it, it’s on all our t-shirts, jogging suits, clocks, coffee mugs, 64-piece tool sets, hubcaps and home pregnancy tests.
